Meghan Markle's Sister Under Investigation For Cyber Bullying The Duchess

Meghan Markle's estranged older sister is reportedly under investigation for cyber-bullying. According to The Daily Mail, multiple countries, including Canada, Sweden and the U.K., filed complaints against Samantha Markle after she continually harassed the Duchess of Sussex online. Florida police have opened an investigation after receiving the complaints.

An officer working on the case for Polk County Sheriff Department, Florida, confirmed these reports to The Mirror. “There have been multiple reports of allegations of cyber-bullying made. Samantha Markle is aware of this allegation," the officer said. "She has not been arrested. This is an ongoing case and I cannot speculate on a timeline yet or make any other comment.”

Samantha’s partner Mark Phillips commented on the investigation, as well. "Whoever wants an investigation against me and Sam, well they are likely to end up in jail for five years for filing a false police report," he told The Mirror. “We’re not doing any cyber bullying, other than retaliating. Heads will roll in the end.”

Since Meghan joined the royal family, though, Samantha has repeatedly used social media to attack her half-sister. The elder Markle daughter has said it will be Meghan's fault if their father dies, called the Duchess heartless, and claimed Meghan wants to be estranged from her family so she can have "centre-stage."

Samantha is currently suspended from Twitter. While there is currently an investigation into her online behavior, it will likely be a "long process" before any conclusion is made about her online behavior.
