DaBaby Previews New Song After Release From Jail: Listen

DaBaby's mind is already back on his music following his release from jail.

After the "VIBEZ" rapper was bailed out of a Miami county jail late Saturday night (January 4), he shared a teaser of his latest track to Instagram. "Think ima get back to Charlotte and put a 24 Hour Krispy Kreme Donut Franchise on N. Tryon🤔 No Cap😂," DaBaby, who has been nothing but unbothered since his release, captioned the black-and-white video that showed him rapping to his new song while holding thousands of dollars in cash to his ear.

As fans know, the "BOP" rapper was arrested for battery in connection to a robbery investigation in Miami, Florida on Thursday (January 2). Sources told TMZ that the victim in the alleged robbery was a concert promoter, who owed DaBaby $30K for a gig, but only showed up with $20k when he met with the Charlotte rapper. The promoter's lack of funds reportedly caused the "INTRO" rapper's crew to beat him up and steal the $80 in cash he had on him as well as his credit card and iPhone 7.

DaBaby was additionally being held on a warrant out of Dallas for organized criminal activity — specifically, a fight at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport where a food stand worker was attacked, TMZ reports. However, shortly after the Charlotte rapper's arrest, Dallas cops withdrew his Texas warrant for some reason, which allowed DaBaby to be released on $1,500 bond Saturday.
