Demi Lovato is getting her own talk show, and it's about time!
The “Sorry Not Sorry” musician is giving Lovatics another reason to rejoice with the announcement of an intimate series slated to premiere on the upcoming mobile video platform Quibi, Variety has reported.
According to the outlet, Lovato’s latest endeavor, tentatively titled Pillow Talk With Demi Lovato, “will see the singer and actress conduct candid, unfiltered conversations with both expert and celebrity guests.” Additionally, among the variety of topics the Grammy-nominated artist will touch on include “activism, body positivity, sex, gender identity, relationships, social media and wellness.”
“I’ve always considered myself someone that speaks honestly about issues that face my generation,” said the “Tell Me You Love Me” star said in a statement. “We’re excited to bring those frank conversations to a public forum, where people can have the opportunity to relate to the topics and guests, while finding room for laughter and learning.”
What’s more, Lovato will serve as executive producer on the series with manager Scooter Braun via Goodstory Entertainment and SB Projects.
The announcement comes just days after the pop star left football fans speechless with her powerful rendition of the National Anthem at Super Bowl LIV. A week before her second performance of the year, the Disney alum celebrated her first televised performance in two years on the main stage at the 2020 Grammys, where she debuted her emotional comeback single “Anyone.”
