Jimmy Eat World is traversing North America this summer.
On Monday (March 9), Jimmy Eat World announced its summer/fall Criminal Energy Tour slated to start August 8 in Atlanta, GA and wrap up September 5 in Phoenix, Arizona.
The Front Bottoms will join Jimmy Eat World starting the second tour date with Turnover and Joyce Manor making appearances in select cities.
Jimmy Eat World will be supporting its 10th studio album, Surviving, on tour. Before the release of the album, frontman Jim Adkins revealed how his band incorporated Rage Against the Machine and Van Halen into the new collection of songs.
While Jimmy Eat World shows no signs of slowing down, the band revealed that it though its third album — 1999's Clarity — would be its last album. Thankfully, over 20 years later we're still getting new music from the guys.
The new trek joins the Canada-heavy tour dates slated for this spring and start April 23.
