Tegan And Sara Announce 'Tonight We're Seeing Colors' Summer Tour

Tegan and Sara are about to make your summer a whole lot better.

On Wednesday (March 11), the sisters announced their Tonight We're Seeing Colors 2020 summer tour. “We’re coming for you, gonna make you see rainbows and dance all night / Bring friends,” they wrote on Instagram.

Joining Tegan and Sara on tour will be Georgia, Jackie Mendoza, IDER, and Claud. The tour kicks off May 18 in Spokane, WA and wraps up September 2 in Atlanta, GA. Tickets will go on sale Friday (March 13) at 10am local time.

If you don't see your city on the list, they said more dates will be coming soon including Seattle and Salt Lake City.

Keeping the coronavirus in mind, Tegan and Sara advised fans everything was a still a go for tour but they'll keep an eye on everything, “Proceeding optimistically with planning but will heed all health and safety recommendations about social gatherings as the tour approaches.”

There's a good chance that Tegan and Sara will continue their efforts to combat ticket scalpers. While on their 2019 tour supporting Hey, I'm Just Like You, they took measures to ensure real fans filled the seats at all of their shows by letting fans pay what they want to fill the empty seats that were bought up by scalpers. Of course, said money went to The Tegan and Sara Foundation, which works to support LGBTQ+ girls and women.

The “I'll Be Back Some Day” performers will be releasing an exclusive purple splatter vinyl called Tonight In The Dark We’re Seeing Colors for Record Store Day (April 18). The live album features songs captured on the sisters' tour from last year.
