JoJo Rewrites Her Hit ‘Leave (Get Out)’ To Create A Coronavirus Anthem

JoJo has turned her breakout hit "Leave (Get Out)" into a full-on coronavirus PSA.

Amid the ongoing global health crisis, the 29-year-old singer took to TikTok on Wednesday (March 18) to bless her fans with a remix of her 2004 single, now called “Chill (Stay In),” to educate them on the importance of social distancing.

“I never thought Corona could be such a nasty b*tch/ But now that she’s here boy all I want is for you to use common sense,” she sings. “Stay In! Right now! Do it for humanity! I’m deada**! About that! But we will survive / So you gon’ learn how to cook now / and practice good hygiene / I know you’re bored and want to f**k around but not on me.”

JoJo also mentions the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on the remixed track and calls out those who aren't taking their warnings seriously. “Tell me why you acting so confused / When the CDC laid it out for you / Come on I know you’re not dumb/To go behind by my back and hit the bar / Shows how immature you really are / Keep exposure to a minimum," she sings.

It didn't take long for “Chill (Stay In)" to go viral on TikTok as it garnered over 2 million views in less than 24 hours. Given the track's quick success, JoJo even tweeted early Thursday morning (March 19) that she's “Dropping the full version of ‘Chill (Stay In)’ tomorrow (Friday, March 19).”

“Just doin’ my part, y’all 😂," she wrote.
