Prince Harry & Prince William Have ‘Anger and Resentment’ Toward Each Other

It looks like Prince William is still holding a grudge against Prince Harry for stepping down as a full-time working member of the Royal Family. While there's been rumors of a growing rift between the brothers for years now—Prince Harry reportedly felt Prince William was not welcoming to Meghan Markle at the beginning of their relationship—the Duke of Sussex's historic decision to step down and move abroad has only made things worse.

“Publicly, they’ve stopped short of trash-talking each other,” a source told Us Weekly. “But behind closed doors, they’re both filled with anger and resentment.” According to the insider, William felt "blindsided" by Harry and Meghan's bombshell announcement that they'd be leaving their positions as Senior Royals. “Harry knows William’s mad at him for uprooting and leaving him to pick up the pieces,” the source continued. “But the way Harry sees it, Meghan’s happiness is way more important. Harry’s fed up with being judged or expected to act a certain way.”

Though Meghan and Archie are Harry's first priority, he still "misses his brother and Kate [Middleton]," according to another insider. Unfortunately, though, the source says "there’s too much mud under the bridge at this point for any meaningful communication. They’re cordial, but that’s about as far as it goes." Instead of getting caught up in all the drama, Harry and Meghan are focusing on their son. “These early days with Archie are so precious,” the insider added. “They’re really happy to be raising him outside of the public eye, for now at least.”

Even though his relationship with William is estranged at the moment, Harry is still quite happy with his historic decision. He and Meghan "are enjoying a quiet life" in Canada, according to People. “They go for long walks, they do yoga, and Meghan cooks. They are real homebodies who love to chill out with Archie and the dogs. They are really happy. Harry is the best dad — he’s so into it. And Meghan is a natural.”
