Childish Gambino Properly Releases New Album '3.15.20'

On March 15, Childish Gambino silently released a new album but there was a catch: you could only listen to it on a continuous loop via the website DonaldGloverPresents.com. A week later (March 22), the hip hop sta properly unveiled the project, appropriately titled 3.15.20.

The album is available on streaming services, as well as continuous loop on the original website. As previously reported, the project consists of 12 tracks including "Algorythm" and "Time," which features Ariana Grande. The rest of the songs are titled with the timestamp at which they appear on the album, including the previously released "Feels Like Summer," now called "42.26."

According to a press release, 3.15.20 also features 21 Savage ("12.38"), Ludwig Göransson (“19.10,” “32.22,” 42.26,” “47.48”), Khadja Bonet (“12.38”), and Donald Glover’s son Legend (“47.48”).

In 2018 Glover said his next Childish Gambino album would be his last. "I’m making another project right now. But I like endings, I think they’re important to progress.” He said at the time. “I think if a lot of things had death clauses in them, we wouldn’t have a lot of problems in the world, to be honest. I think endings are good because they force things to get better.” However, he assured fans he was not abandoning music.

Aside from making music, Glover has also been hard at work on the third season of his hit TV showAtlanta; however, production has reportedly halted in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
