Bishop Briggs Covers 'Oh Happy Day' To Offer 'Peaceful Feeling' To Fans

Bishop Briggs just wants to spread the love. On Monday (April 13), the singer-songwriter shared a cover of "Oh Happy Day" from Sister Act 2 where she not only sang lead, but recorded all the choir parts too. And as if the cover itself wasn't a treat enough for fans (she hits a note that would make Mariah Carey proud), she also spliced together some truly joyous video clips that have surfaced since quarantine began, including Billie Eilish petting a puppy.

"I was in a gospel choir when I was little and whenever I sang this it brought me so much joy," she captioned the video on Instagram, "So, the other night I started recording myself singing every part of the choir in the hopes that this could offer the same peaceful feeling to you that I felt as a kid. Sometimes we have to remind ourselves that good still exists. You just have to look for it."
