Like so many members of the rock community, YUNGBLUD has been vocal about fighting against racism, and on Tuesday (June 9), he took to Instagram to tell fans how proud he was of them for uniting and "fighting together for what is right." However, he also acknowledged that there could be some negative feelings experienced during this time as well, and he wants them to know he's here and wants to talk.
"the unity in the past couple weeks has been so fookin incredible. it is such an important time," he wrote. "to see everyone fighting together for what is right is so amazin. but i know a lot of people might feel confused, lonely or frightened right now. i wanna talk. drop some '🖤🖤🖤's and imma pick 20 people and ft you tomorrow. you are not alone. love u all 🖤"

This isn't the first time YUNGBLUD's made a call (literally) to fans. Back in March, as the COVID-19 outbreak began spreading rapidly in the United States, he urged fans to comment with black hearts on his Instagram post, and he chose 20 to FaceTime. "i feel so weird lately and i miss you all a fookin lot," he wrote at the time.
