Gwen Stefani Thanks Blake Shelton For Helping Raise Her Sons In Sweet Post

Gwen Stefani couldn't be more thankful for the love and support her longtime boyfriend Blake Shelton has given her and her kids.

On Sunday (June 21), Stefani turned to Instagram to share a sweet Father's Day message, thanking Shelton for helping her raise her sons, Kingston, 14, Zuma, 11, and Apollo, 6, all of whom she shares with ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale.

The post features a series of photos of Shelton with her kids throughout the years. "Happy father’s day @blakeshelton," Stefani wrote in the caption. "Thank u for helping me raise these boys!! #weloveyou! G❤️K❤️Z❤️A gx."

Stefani and Shelton have been together for about five years now after meeting on The Voice in 2015. Sources recently revealed that the couple is ready to take their relationship to the next level. According to Us Weekly, the couple's plans were affected by the coronavirus pandemic, but they plan to get married as soon as it's safe to have an actual wedding.

"COVID-19 has turned their world upside down, as it has with so many families," a source revealed. "Gwen knows she is blessed and wants to have the wedding as soon as social distancing guidelines are lifted."

This news comes months after reports suggested that Stefani was waiting for her marriage to Rossdale to be annulled before marrying Shelton. The annulment process started in 2019, but the pandemic has changed the pop singer's perspective on the situation.

The source suggests that Stefani now wants to marry Shelton as soon as possible, even though her previous marriage has yet to be formally annulled by the church.

"Gwen wants to have a ceremony and reception with their family and friends. She didn’t wait this long to get married with family watching on Zoom. It has made her realize that waiting for the annulment at this point is just futile because it could take years for the church tribunal to issue the decision."
