Why Liam Hemsworth Has A 'Low Opinion' Of Miley Cyrus 1 Year After Breakup

Liam Hemsworth’s relationship with Miley Cyrus is a thing of the past.

Since calling off their marriage over a year ago, Hemsworth has supposedly developed poor feelings about his ex-wife. “Liam kind of has a low opinion of Miley at this point. He was really hurt by their split,” an insider exclusively told Us Weekly, referring to the couple’s marriage, which ended in August 2019 with a statement from Cyrus.

Hemsworth, who tied the knot with the “Midnight Sky” singer in December 2018, cited irreconcilable differences when he filed for divorce just eight months after their nuptials. (The divorce finalized this past January.)

Just a few months after calling it quits, the Disney darling started relationships with Kaitlynn Carter and held a 10-month romance with Cody Simpon, which ended this month.

Apparently, the quickness with which Cyrus started dating again is still a tender thing for Hemsworth. Per what the source told the celebrity outlet, “Miley and Liam haven’t talked much since their divorce. Liam was hurt by Miley moving on with new love interests shortly after they broke up.”

As far as how the Hunger Games star is coping with the disappointment of their split, the insider said he’s been finding comfort in the support of his family.

“Liam has been trying to be as private as possible and respectful about their relationship and breakup, and it’s a shame to him and his family that certain aspects about his and Miley’s relationship have been made public,” they added. “He’s a very traditional and good guy and was very hurt by the way specific instances played out in front of the world.”

Since the divorce, the 30-year-old actor started a short-lived relationship with actress Maddison Brown in October 2019, before moving on with his current girlfriend, model Gabriella Brooks, who Hemsworth feels “more at home with.”
