Ty Dolla $ign has nabbed Nicki Minaj for his latest offering.
On Wednesday (August 25), Ty took to social media to announce his new single, "Expensive," which features the Queen of Rap and was produced by James Royo. In his announcement, the hip-hop titan unveiled the cover art and its Friday release date, as well as a snippet of the mid-tempo track. "She’s so expensive, okay/ Beemers or the Benzes, okay/ Lambo or the double R truck, yeah yeah / She gon' let a superstar f**k," Ty sings on the track.
The two have previously collaborated on Jason Derulo's "Swalla" and Megan Thee Stallion’s "Hot Girl Summer."
"Expensive" follows the star-studded "Ego Death," which dropped in July and featured Kanye West, FKA twigs and Skrillex. The track appears to be an appetizer of sorts until Ty releases his third studio album, Dream House. It was previously titled Tyrone. "My new album is done and it’s coming very soon," he previously admitted during Big Boy’s Neighborhood on REAL 92.3. "Shout to my fans for being patient while I made sure it was perfect, it’s worth the wait…it’s my best work yet. I can’t wait for y’all to hear it!"
