Max Ehrich appears to have moved on from Demi Lovato.
The Young and the Restless actor sparked rumors that he’s now dating American Idol alum Sonika Vaid. The 29-year-old suggested as much on Tuesday (October 13) when he posted an image of the rumored couple stepping out together after a dinner outing. The two looked pretty cozy in the snapshot showing Max wrapping his arm around the 25-year-old star, who later spoke to E! News about how they met.
"I met Max recently at dinner with mutual friends. It was a fun night and we all got to hang out and head to the studio together,” she told the outlet. "We've just been hanging out since and having fun.”
Ehrich, who previously spoke out about being bullied by Lovato’s fans following their less-than-amicable breakup, also turned off all comments on the caption-less photo.
His outing with Vaid comes weeks after he learned “through a tabloid” that his engagement with the “Cool for the Summer” star was over, just months after popping the question to the 28-year-old in late-July.
The actor hasn’t been taking the breakup well and has been displaying a lot of strange behavior since the split, so much that Lovato is reportedly seeking legal aid to keep Ehrich from trying to contact her.
"She is having all sorts of issues with Max not leaving her alone," a source told E! News. "He has been trying to get in contact with her family and friends and they have all blocked him. She's in contact with lawyers now on what to do."
