Three Holiday Events You Can Enjoy This Month In The Salt Lake Area

Though things may seem a lot different this year in the midst of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Christmas spirit is still alive.

There are many events in the area that are sure to bring along the spirit of the holidays.

Here are three Christmas events that you and your family can enjoy this month in the Salt Lake area:

Lumaze: Lost In Lights

Guest can walk through a "Fairytale Christmas" of millions of twinkling lights at the Utah State Fairpark. This event features massive illuminated displays, a candy cane light tunnel, festive music and treats, a covered Kids' Zone with a Gingerbread Castle Playground, glowing swings, and numerous photo opportunities. Christmas on Temple Square

The iconic lights at Temple Square will be lit this holiday season, however, residents will have to enjoy them at a distance. According to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, public access will not be granted on temple grounds amid the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic. Residents can view the lights from nearby sidewalks. Those who choose to do so are encouraged to wear facial coverings and practice social distancing.

Holiday Stroll at the Grand America Hotel

Guests can walk through a storybook journey at the Grand America. Due to the coronavirus, this event is only open to guests staying in the hotel. Boutiques on the grounds create elegant holiday displays for guests to enjoy. Visitors are asked to wear facial coverings and remain socially distanced from others. Click here for more information.
