These Tennessee Cities Are Considered Among The Most Caring In The U.S.

Nashville and Memphis are considered among the most caring city in the United States, according to a recent study.

WalletHub.com listed Nashville at No. 49 and Memphis at No. 88 on its list of the "Most Caring Cities in the U.S." released on Monday (December 14.) Nashville received a total score of 55.29, while Memphis scored 46.71.

WalletHub said it compared the 100 largest cities in the United States "across 39 key indicators of a compassionate spirit." Cities were scored based on "caring for the community," "caring for the vulnerable" and "caring for the work force."

Nashville ranked 47th in "caring for the workforce," 38th for "caring for the vulnerable" and 61st for "caring for the community." Memphis ranked 91st in "caring for the community," 77th for "caring for the vulnerable" and 48th in "caring for the workforce."

WalletHub reports more Americans have felt the need to care more in 2020 amid the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic, high unemployment, the fallout of the presidential election and several other factors.
