This Is The Most Popular New Year's Resolution In Florida

We're in the new year, which means it's time to follow up on those New Year's resolutions! The strange 2020 has taken a toll on Americans in some way. Some of us gained weight, had to cancel vacations and rarely left home due to lockdowns and quarantine. And that's not touching on the other wild events of this year. As a result, people's goals for 2021 may look different.

Zippia analyzed Google Trends to see what each state's residents are planning for this year. What about Florida?

Well, for the Sunshine State, people are looking to get some therapy. They're not alone in that department, either. Therapy was the most popular resolution with 11 other states wanting the same, including New York, Arizona and Minnesota.

When it comes to Florida's neighbors, Georgians are planning to read more, along with the Carolinas and Virginia. Alabamans seek to lose weight, which was the second-most popular resolution.

"[Seven] states want to quarantine and chill, judging from their searches for internet dating and dating advice," Kathy Morris, write of the article, said. South Dakota was the sole state to have this resolution: quit drinking.

Whether you're feeling optimistic or pessimistic, there's no harm in looking forward to a better year.
