Sun Country Airlines Arrives At Indianapolis International Airport

Sun Country Airlines is expanding to the Indianapolis International Airport.

Starting in May, Sun Country will offer nonstop flights from Indianapolis to Minneapolis-St. Paul on Monday and Friday. The airline company is based at the Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport.

In September, it'll add nonstop flights to Orlando. The route was chosen because Orlando is one of Indianapolis' top vacation destinations, according to Mario Rodriguez, executive director of the Indianapolis Airport Authority.

The airlines currently requires passengers to complete a pre-travel health screening and wear a face covering or mask while on board.

Sun Country's expansion comes as far fewer people travel because of the pandemic.
