Valentine's Day is just around the corner and many adults are searching for a romantic partner.
The pandemic definitely hasn't made it easy to find love either with stay-at-home orders and social distancing.
But, did you know that location can influence your odds of finding a significant other?
Wallethub compared the 50 states across 27 key indicators to determine each state's dating-friendliness.
The website states, "In states with low cost of living, for instance, your income might stretch a lot further, which means cheaper or more frequent dates. If you’re more financially stable, though, you might appreciate a state with more attractions to find new experiences for both you and your potential other half."
Utah found itself near the top of the list.
The state was ranked as the 17th best state for singles. Utah also ranked 1st overall in the "dating economics" category, 4th overall for most online-dating opportunities, 1st overall for most mobile-dating opportunities, and 2nd overall for the highest median annual household income.
While the state ranked very high in some categories, it ranked low in others. Utah was 48th overall for the lowest gender balance of singles and in last place for the lowest share of single adults.
According to the list, here are the top 20 best states for singles:
