Utah Jazz Will Be Welcoming Fans To The Upper Bowl Starting Tuesday

Even more fans will soon be able to watch the Utah Jazz play live in Vivint Arena, reported KSL.

Beginning with Tuesday's game, the Jazz will be opening the upper bowl to fans in what is being called "socially distanced pod seating."

There will be a capacity increase from the previous 1,500 fans to 3,902 per game.

The Utah Jazz are now one of nine teams that are allowing fans inside the arena, as many across the league have adjusted their attendance policies.

Due to the increase, the Jazz will now have the second-largest capacity of all of the teams that are allowing fans to watch the games. The Orlando Magic has a slightly larger capacity at 4,000 fans.

All of the existing health and safety precautions will stay the same at Vivint Arena. All guests are required to wear masks when they are not eating or drinking, and all groups are required to stay six feet away from others.

Utah's COVID-19 numbers have been dropping, and the Utah Department of Health reported 584 cases on Monday, which is the first time that the state has had under 600 cases since September 14th.

The game on Tuesday night will begin at 8PM MST.
