The Dallas Zoo is missing one of its animal ambassadors after he took off on Saturday, February 6.
The ambassador isn't human, but he's a pied crow named Onyx. The zoo was training Onyx for a "free-flighted bird show" when he flew away from the rest of the flock, the zoo said on Twitter.
Onyx was last seen headed towards the Bishop Arts District, and zoo staffers haven't spotted him since.
The zoo is asking for the public's help in finding Onyx, which looks like the average crow except of his bright white chest.
Onyx also like humans and will approach them. The zoo called him friendly and he can say "hi," "hiya," and "hi, onyx." Anyone who sees Onyx is asked to contact the zoo instead of trying to catch the bird.
