Russell Dickerson is giving fans a glimpse into his personal life in the new music video for his latest single, "Home Sweet." The video montage finds the country star reflecting on the last eight years of his life and celebrating his wife Kailey and their baby boy Remington.
Released on the eight-year anniversary of the couple's engagement, the video montage features several never-before-seen home videos starting with one from Dickerson's proposal to his now-wife. It continued on to highlight other special moments with footage from their honeymoon, buying their first home together, Dickerson's career accomplishments, and of course their first baby, son Remington.
"Home sweet, you and me / Ain’t got much, but we got all we need," Dickerson sings in the chorus. "Wherever the wind blows, wherever this life goes / Baby, all I know, ain’t nothin’ like, nothin’ like / Home sweet, you and me."
"Eight years ago today I asked the girl of my dreams to marry me. She said yes and the rest is history," he wrote on Instagram when announcing the new visual. "This video shares some of my favorite memories over the years that have inspired not only this song but so many others. "Home Sweet" is the second single off Dickerson's sophomore album Southern Symphony, following his four consecutive No. 1 hits, "Yours," "Blue Tacoma," "Every Little Thing" and "Love You Like I Used To."
