A semiprivate jet company is expanding service between Dallas Love Field and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, just in time for spring break.
JSX announced its first international flight, which will begin in March. Round trip flights between Dallas and Mexico will be held March 4 and 7, and March 18 and 21, but the company told the Dallas Morning News it may add more flights if it sees an increase in demand.
Tickets to Mexico will start at $499 each way.
Although JSX flies out of major airports, it operates differently than larger commercial carriers. JSX focuses on offering the private jet experience without the private jet price tag.
JSX's jets are smaller and typically carry around 30 people because the middle seat is removed. Passengers also go through Dallas Love Field's private terminals instead of the main airport and are able to arrive less than 30 minutes before their plane takes off.
They'll still have to go through a TSA screening and have their temperatures checked before boarding.
The company is based in Dallas, but most of its flights are between Californian cities. JSX started offering $99 flights between Dallas and Houston in November. It also offers flights between Dallas and Big Bend/Lajitas, Texas; Las Vegas; and Orange County, California.
