VIDEO: Man Harasses Manager At Pueblo Restaurant Over Mask Policy

A restaurant in Pueblo is pressing charges against a customer after he refused to comply with their face mask policy. The customer, caught on video, is seen harassing and yelling close to the manager's face after she asked him to put on a mask.

The incident occurred at Do Drop Inn on Pueblo's southside.

The manager, Autumn Dowling, told FOX21 the rules are in place to help them survive.

"I feel like by reading signs on the door and then coming in, you agree to those terms in a way," said Dowling. "I feel like I've dealt with every situation by Saturday takes the cake."

The video shows the customer getting in the manager's face. While you can see the man backing her up against a table and pointing his finger at her, the video doesn't have audio.

Dowling told FOX21 he was cursing at her and the video captured the moment she asked him to leave the restaurant.

The restaurant just received their 5-star certification on Friday, February 26, so customers must wear their masks when they get up from their table for any reason.

"When he came out of the bathroom that's when I told him, I said sir if you can't wear a mask we have to ask you to leave," said Dowling.

Eventually, other employees tried to step in and called the police shortly after.

FOX21 reports the man was charged with harassment and trespassing, which means he won't be able to go to the restaurant again.
