Demi Lovato Names New LP 'Dancing With The Devil… The Art Of Starting Over'

Demi Lovato is releasing a new album!

The pop star officially announced her new album, Dancing with the Devil… The Art of Starting Over, which will drop on April 2. Lovato made the announcement late Monday night (March 15) and shared the album’s artwork with her fans on Instagram.

This album will mark Lovato’s seventh studio LP, and her first to release in four years following the release of 2017’s Tell Me You Love Me. Last year, Lovato unveiled several singles including "I Love Me," "Anyone," "I'm Ready" featuring Sam Smith, "Commander in Chief," "Still Have Me," "It's OK Not to Be OK" featuring Marshmello and "What Other People Say" featuring Sam Fischer.

The album contains four already-confirmed tracks, including songs titled “It’s All Good,” “The Art of Starting Over,” “I.C.U.” and “Dancing with the Devil.” Per a previous Billboard report, Lovatics may hear new collaborations featuring Lovato and three mystery female artists, with Ariana Grande among the rumored collaborators.

"If you listen to it track by track, if you follow the track listing, it's kind of actually like the non-official soundtrack to the documentary. Because it really does follow my life over the past couple of years,” the 28-year-old explained during a live stream on the app Clubhouse. “When we went through the track listing and kind of mapped out how it kind of coincided with my life’s story, it made sense to add the more emotional stuff in the beginning and then transition into ‘The Art of Starting Over.’”

Lovato’s album announcement arrives in conjunction with her YouTube docuseries, Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil, premiering Tuesday (March 23).
