PHOTOS: Police Recover Strange Stolen Items From Prolific Colorado Burglar

Detectives from the Colorado Springs Police Department spent the month of February investigating the burglary of a storage unit in the 4200 block of North Nevada Ave.

After serving a search warrant at a different storage unit in the 2000 block of King Street, detectives discovered stolen property from the original burglary. They also recovered additional items from other storage units within the same King Street facility that were reported stolen.

According to police, 34-year-old Tomasz Kellams is accused of stealing the recovered items. He was taken into custody on March 3, 2021.

In a recovered property report, Colorado Springs police posted a photo gallery of all the stolen items in hopes of returning them to their rightful owners.

A majority of the haul included bizarre items including nearly 20 small ceramic figurines of a parrot, a dog, and several penguins.

Police also found do-it-yourself Christmas snowglobes made from upside-down wine glasses.

But perhaps the most random item found in the haul was an unopened action figure of the character Fat Bastard from Mikey Myers' Austin Powers series.

Not everything was strange though. Among the stolen items were cutlery sets, cameras, phones, iPods, laptops, power tools, and a guitar. They also recovered a stolen firearm and other electronics that have obvious resale value.
