Here's Where To Get The Best Ice Cream In Pennsylvania

A Reading ice cream shop has been named as the best ice cream in Pennsylvania.

Bassett's was included among Food & Wine's list of the best ice cream in every state, which was published earlier this summer.

The Reading shop is the longest-running ice cream brand in the U.S., with five generations of the Bassett family running the operation since 1861.

Late CEO and president Ann Bassett is credited for the shop's initial expansion beyond the Philadelphia market, with locations now throughout Pennsylvania and neighboring states, as well as Georgia and Florida.
