A 17-year-old is accused of setting up a robbery at the McDonald's that he worked at for a cut of the stolen cash.
Nicholas Brinkman was manning the drive-thru window at a McDonald's in Spring, Texas, on August 9 when someone with a gun drove up and demanded money. The teen employee emptied the cash register, and the crook drove off before authorities arrived at the scene.
Managers at the fast food restaurant turned over surveillance footage to investigators, which showed Brinkman organizing the crime with the gunman, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office.
When questioned, the teen admitted to the crime and that he planned on splitting the money with the crook.
The second suspect hasn't been identified, but Brinkman was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.
