With a global pandemic still on our heels, many are wondering if this is it. Is this the time a zombie apocalypse is actually going to happen?
Okay, so maybe no one is thinking that.
But, you must be wondering which cities would be best suited for surviving a zombie apocalypse. Lawn Love conducted a study to find that out. Based on the CDC's Zombie Preparedness 101 (Yes, that's a thing), the website compared the 200 largest cities in the nation based on 23 key indicators of zombie preparedness.
Based on the study, Tempe is among those with the best chances of surviving a zombie outbreak. It landed at number 20 on the list, beating out 180 other cities.
Tempe ranked 12th overall for "protection" and 35th overall for "public health."
According to the study, here are the top 10 cities best equipped for surviving a zombie apocalypse:
- Huntingdon Beach, CA
- Bellevue, WA
- Alexandria, VA
- Minneapolis, MN
- Vancouver, WA
- Seattle, WA
- S. Paul, MN
- Fort Collins, CO
- Fort Lauderdale, FL
- Hollywood, FL
