A naked woman managed to hit a police officer in the face while they were arresting her last week, according to KIRO 7 on Monday (August 23).
On Friday (August 20) around 9:15 p.m., Seattle Police responded to the 200 block of Broadway East in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Officers said they got reports of a nude woman approaching people and threatening them with a knife. Authorities learned she ran away to the 900 block, where she reportedly made more threats to passerby.
Police caught the armed woman as she was brandishing the knife at other people in the 2300 block in the Eastlake neighborhood. As officers were trying to arrest her, she ended up smacking an officer in the face, reporters wrote.
She was booked into King County Jail, where police said she attacked two jail officers.
This is the third incident involving naked people in the Seattle area over the last two weeks. Last week, two naked men reportedly got into a confrontation that left both of them injured. A Port Angeles woman found herself behind bars after she allegedly trashed a restaurant and a man's hotel room.
