Here Are The Top 10 Areas St. Louis Residents Are Relocating To The Most

A lot of residents in major cities are deciding to relocate to other areas across the United States. Some are moving for various reasons, like a job, the cost of living, or just wanting a change of scenery.

Stacker released a list of the top 50 places St. Louis residents are relocating to and the results might surprise you.

To find where St. Louis residents are moving to the most, Stacker used data from the U.S. Census Bureau. The metro areas are ranked by "the estimated number of people who moved to the metro from St. Louis between 2014 and 2018."

According to the report, a lot of St. Louis residents aren't moving too far from the city. In fact, out of the top 10 places people are moving to, five are still within Missouri's state lines. However, there are a few states that many St. Louis residents moved to, like Illinois, Arkansas, and California.
