Lizzo Tells Niall Horan That Drake Lyric In 'Rumors' Was Originally For Him

Niall Horan filled in as host on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday (August 24) and, unsurprisingly, he was absolutely delightful. Not only did he challenge the Jonas Brothers to a hilariously complicated game of golf, but the 'Slow Hands' singer also shamelessly flirted with Lizzo during their interview.

During their flirty chat, Niall asked Lizzo all about her new song 'Rumors,' including that lyric about Drake. For those who might not have listened to 'Rumors' yet—what are you waiting for?—the lyric in question is: "No, I ain't f—k Drake yet." Lizzo told the former One Direction singer that "the original line was 'No, I ain't f—k Niall yet,' but the label said it was a bit provocative so I changed it to Drake. A safer bet."

Once Niall was able to stop giggling, he followed up by asking if Drake has "heard about this." Lizzo, of course, had the perfect response: "I think he's heard the No. 4 song in the country." After some nudging, though, Lizzo admitted she has heard from Drake. "But that's all I'm gonna say on that," she added coyly.

Lizzo also took a moment to praise Cardi B for featuring on the track and showing up for the video shoot while heavily pregnant with her second child. "I'm grateful to Cardi B, too," Lizzo gushed. "She really killed it on the song. Her and Cardi Jr. were in my music video. She brought her pregnant ass to set—I'm eternally grateful."

"You know, because if I was pregnant, I would want to sit my ass at home and prop my feet and eat some hot Cheetos and Takis," Lizzo added. Niall told the 'Truth Hurts' singer that's what he does and he's "not even pregnant." Lizzo quipped back, "you want to change that?", leaving Niall blushing for the rest of the interview.
