A train smashed into a semi-truck pulling a wind turbine blade, causing the 18-wheeler to roll over on Sunday (August 31) in Luling, Texas.
Union Pacific officials confirmed the crash -- which has since gone viral in a video shared on social media -- took place at the intersection of U.S. 90 and U.S. 183 at around 2:30 p.m., KVUE reports.
The Luling Police Department said the Northern Lights Specialized Transport truck was partially across the railroad track at the time of the collision, which caused the truck and trailer to overturn.
Police confirmed the trailer split and the turbine blade caused damage to three other unoccupied vehicles parked nearby, as well as the railroad crossing signal controller, a commercial building and a utility pole, all of which were on the east side of Magnolia Avenue (U.S. 183) at the time of the accident.

The video of the crash was initially shared on Facebook Sunday (August 29) by Jon Throgmorton, who said a truck driver for his company recorded the video.
"Not my company but we know some of the escorts involved. Our driver recorded the video. Praying for everyone involved. It’s never easy. Luling, Tx today," Throgmorton wrote.
The truck is seen stopped on the tracks as the railroad gate arms come down on the trailer with the train quickly approaching.
Shortly after, the train charges into the trailer as the truck attempts to get off the track, striking the wind turbine blade and causing the semi-truck's cab to roll onto its side.
Police confirmed both of the Union Pacific engines experienced significant damage during the crash.
Union Pacific officials told KVUE crew members were transported to the hospital after the accident, but police said no injuries were reported in relation to the crash.
U.S. 183 was shut down for several hours on Sunday after the crash as the track and train were inspected and later pronounced safe by Union Pacific safety personnel and cleared to resume traveling at around 9:00 p.m. Sunday after both engines were replaced.
