Multiple festivals in and around the Valley have been put on hold due to COVID-19.

"Everyone at Four Peaks is bummed about it, and the customers who were ready to go. ... It's just it’s a downer all around, but we totally understand the decisions that the City of Tempe’s making to keep people safe, and we wanted to do our part to help keep people safe as well," Zach Fowle of the Four Peaks Brewing Company told FOX 10.

The Four Peaks Oktoberfest scheduled to start October 8 at Tempe Beach Park will not go forward as planned due to the "current situation surrounding the delta variant," AZ Central reported.

The AZCentral Wine & Food Experience on November 6 has also been taken off the schedule.

A handful of other events have been rescheduled. The Arizona Taco Festival scheduled for October 23-24 has been rescheduled for April 9-10 and October 22-23 in 2022. Ticket holders should have received an email about refunds, but tickets will also be honored for the spring event, according to ABC 15.

The Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival booked for October 29-30 has been pushed back to fall 2022. Organizers said they are also looking into holding a spring event.

Some events are still scheduled to go ahead as planned, including

  • Phoenix Pride on November 6-7
  • Yoga in the Outfield on November 7
  • AZ Barrels, Bottles & Brews on November 13
  • Phoenix Pizza Festival on November 13-14

It's still possible that these events will change their dates or put in place health measures, like social distancing and mask wearing.
