As The Rolling Stones prepare to hit the stage at Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium Thursday night (September 30), Mick Jagger is checking out what the city has to offer.
On Thursday morning, he posted a snap of him enjoying one of the city's "hidden gems," according to WCNC. The Stones frontman shared a photo of him at the Thirsty Beaver Saloon, grabbing a drink alongside other patrons at one of the Queen City's eclectic honky tonk dive bars.
"Out and about last night in Charlotte, NC," he captioned the photo.
The Stones are set to take Charlotte by storm Thursday night at Bank of America Stadium before moving to Pittsburgh for the next stop on their tour October 4.
The Rolling Stones are currently on their 2021 No Filter tour, which kicked off Sunday (September 26) in St. Louis after it was postponed by the pandemic.
This is also the Stones' first tour since the death of longtime drummer Charlie Watts, who passed away in London on August 24 at the age of 80 surrounded by friends and family.
"Charlie was a cherished husband, father and grandfather and also as a member of The Rolling Stones one of the greatest drummers of his generation," the band said in a statement.
