A couple of high school sweethearts from Sacramento had their wedding reception in an unlikely place.
The Taco Bell Cantina in Pacifica, widely known as the most beautiful Taco Bell location in the Bay Area, was the perfect place to host their wedding reception for Analicia Garcia and Kyle Howser.
“When we got engaged, I think we both knew we didn't want to do a big, huge traditional wedding,” Garcia told SFGate. “... I saw on TikTok that the Las Vegas Taco Bell Cantina does weddings. How cool would that be? We love the Pacifica location. It's beautiful. And we also love Taco Bell.”
The popular fast-food chain is a pillar in their relationship.
“I remember we used to drive to Taco Bell and go on long drives and just chitchat when we were younger,” said Garcia.
And the restaurant's cheap prices had them coming back often throughout college.
“The $5 box was too good of a deal for a college budget,” said Howser. “It kind of became a date for us.”
The Pacifica Taco Bell doesn't officially do weddings, but when James Aman, who oversees four Bay Area Taco Bells, heard from the couple he couldn't pass up the opportunity.
“We were honored and wanted to do whatever we could do to make it special,” Aman told SFGate.
