We don't always have time for an elaborate meal at breakfast. That's where cereal comes in.
With cereal being the staple of breakfast foods, Zippia wanted to find out what cereals are most popular across the country. They set out to find the most loved cereal in every state.
To do this, Zippa analyzed Google Trends and examined over 20 popular cereals from the largest cereal brands. They looked at an entire year of search interest, "giving each state ample time to demonstrate their breakfast passions."
So which brand is the preferred cereal of choice for Californians?
According to the study, it's Honey Bunches of Oats.
