A strange new art exhibition is setting up shop at San Francisco's Cartoon Art Museum on Beach Street.
For the past year, comedian and host of the show Last Week Tonight John Oliver, has been collecting a "small but high-quality collection of modern masterpieces."
According to SFGATE, all of the bizarre pieces will be on display at the Cartoon Art Museum in "The Last Week Tonight Masterpiece Gallery."
The gallery includes a painting of talk show host Wendy Williams enthusiastically holding a lamb chop, "high quality rate erotica," and more oddities.
The exhibition has toured four other museums across the country and its monthlong San Francisco engagement will be its final stop.
The Cartoon Museum is the only venue on the West Coast to showcase the assortment of art.
“I wrote a brief email to ‘Last Week Tonight,’ talking up the Cartoon Art Museum and its history, letting them know how the pandemic had impacted us, and I told them that we'd be the perfect venue for John's collection,” curator Andrew Farago told SFGATE.
You can see the exhibition until January 25, 2022.
