Black Panther: Wakanda Forever's official soundtrack is finally here and it contains a wide range of artists from around the world.
On Friday, November 4, the official soundtrack for the highly-anticipated sequel to Black Panther arrived. The album contains 19 new songs from Rihanna, Burna Boy, Tems, Fireboy DML, Stormzy, Snow Tha Product, E-40, Tobe Nwigwe, Fat Nwigwe, CKay and plenty more. The fresh collection of songs begins with Rihanna's first new track in six years "Lift Me Up," which dropped last week. It continues with Burna Boy's latest song "Alone" and Tems' version of Bob Marley's "No Woman No Cry."
The new project, which was primarily produced by Ludwig Göransson, comes four years after the original soundtrack for the first Black Panther film shook up the music industry. Spearheaded by Kendrick Lamar and Top Dawg Entertainment, the OST contains 14 unforgettable tracks including Kendrick Lamar and SZA's "All The Stars", "Pray For Me" with Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd, "King's Dead" featuring Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, Future and James Blake and other contributions from Travis Scott, REASON, Zacari, Ab-Soul, Anderson .Paak, Vince Staples, 2 Chainz and more.
TDE's Black Panther soundtrack received seven Grammy nominations including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year and others. The team ended up leaving the the awards show with trophies for "Best Rap Performance" thanks to "King's Dead."
