A motorcyclist was recklessly weaving in and out of traffic at high speeds in Clayton County, and it did not take long for police to intervene. According to a Facebook post on the Clayton County Police Department's page, Georgia State Patrol officers "lost contact" with the suspect during the chase with very little information as to who could have been driving the motorcycle. Lieutenant Reimers of the Clayton County Police Department received word of the incident and immediately started to investigate.
"After hearing about the chase, Lieutenant Reimers began searching social media and was able to locate video on TikTok and Youtube that appeared to be recorded by the suspect during the pursuit," the post read. Reimers looked at the bike in the video and noticed that it was a rare model with special "modifications."
Reimers searched through social media a second time for more information and found the suspect with photos of the bike at the suspect's residence. Reimers took this information to a Georgia State Patrol trooper who went with him to the suspect's house in what police refer to as a "knock and talk." The suspect eventually admitted to being the motorcyclist in the video and was arrested.
