Jennifer Aniston was allegedly inside her Bel Air mansion when a car crashed through her front gate on Monday (May 5) afternoon, police say.
According to US Weekly, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to an incident where a man, whose identity has yet to be revealed, "ran his vehicle through the gates to the residence at 12:20 p.m. on Monday, May 5, while the owner was at home." The suspect, a white male in his 70s, was held by Aniston's security team before police arrived.
Officers are investigating whether the crash was accidental or if the man intentionally ran into the Friends actress's gate. Aniston has yet to comment on the incident.
The star spoke highly of her "Old World meets New World" Bel Air property, which she's lived in since 2011, during an interview with Architectural Digest in 2018, referring to it as an "experience."
"Aesthetically, it was the furthest thing from what I wanted, but I immediately had the sense that it could work. It’s hard to describe, but I felt a connection. I’m all about cozy. Sexy is important, but comfort is essential. Every corner you turn, you have an experience. Everywhere you look, you get a vista. We worked very hard to get that flow right."
