Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt were a match made in heaven and were sure about their future together even on their first date.

The Saturday Night Live alum, 32, and the British actress, 29, public with their romance in March 2025, made rare comments about their relationship while taking over Bumble's Instagram Stories on Tuesday (November 18), per E! News. Davidson recalled one anecdote from the beginning of their relationship when Hewitt shared a fun idea for a date.

"She goes, 'I have a standing reservation at an escape room so we can go anytime,'" he said, laughing. "I was like, 'Oh, cool, dude.'"

In another Instagram post, the couple opened up about their love by answering a few prompts. Hewitt shared that her beau taught her that love is "patient & always the thing to lead with" while Davidson explained that what makes him love her "even more" is "how excited she gets to show me food I've never had before." The King of Staten Island star even revealed the sweet opening line he would lead with if they matched on the dating app today, replying, "What you doin' the next 40 years?"

Hewitt also made a surprising confession while talking about their first date, revealing that she told the comedian that she knew he would be the father of her future kids.

"When we went on our first date, like we went out to dinner for the first time, I was like, 'Okay, don't think that I'm crazy, but I just know you're going to be the father of my children," she said in a video. "And he was like, 'Yeah.'"

Hewitt seemingly manifested that dream into a reality as she and Davidson announced in July that they are expecting their first child together. The comedian is reportedly very "excited" about the new chapter in his life and has even explained that being a father has been one of his life's dreams, though he also has a lot of "guilt" about her pregnancy experience.
