As he prepares for fatherhood, Pete Davidson has a close friend to turn to for the best advice.
The Saturday Night Live alum, who is expecting his first child with girlfriend Elsie Hewitt, recently spoke to People about his parenthood journey and shared how one of his best friends, mgk, has provided some helpful wisdom about what being a dad is really like.
"The best advice I've heard him say is that you're the first person in the kid's life so they will always love you," he said. "It's like this love that you'll never feel ever again... And I'm just really excited for that moment."
The parenting effort on mgk's part has paid off, as Davidson previously described the rocker's 16-year-old daughter Casie, who he shares with ex Emma Cannon, as "cooler than all of us." He is also a dad to 8-month-old daughter Saga Blade with Megan Fox.
"[Casie's] so cool. Doesn't give a s--- about any of this sort of stuff," he told People in November. "And just loves her dad and is great in school, and she's got her driver's license. Yeah, he did a great job with that one and he's doing a great job with his new one, so I just hope I could do what he's doing."
After going public with their romance in March 2025, Davidson, 32, and Hewitt, 29, announced in July that they were expecting their first child together. The British actress recently revealed that she knew from their first date that the comedian "would be the father of my children." For his part, Davidson has shared how "excited" he is about this new chapter.
