Philadelphia's Hop Along meld the captivating, idiosyncratic vocals of singer/songwriter/guitarist Frances Quinlan with heavy doses of sincerity and explosiveness to form a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants indie rock. The group metamorphosed from Quinlan's quirky, lo-fi indie folk solo project called Hop Along, Queen Ansleis, which released one album, Freshman Year, in 2005.
