Known for their hard-edged sound, rock & roll lifestyle of yesteryear, and mission to deliver modern music from itself, New Zealand band Pluto began climbing the indie rock ladder shortly after their formation in 1994. The Auckland-based band took their time in assembling repertoire and building support for their debut recording. Red Light Syndrome was independently released in 2001 before it was picked up and distributed by Antenna Recordings.
