Tami Lynn

b. USA. Tami Lynn was one of several New Orleans, Louisiana, USA-based artists who worked for Harold Battiste's AFO (All For One) label during the early 60s. She sang on A Compendium, an album that featured the co-operative's crack houseband, but this phase in her career was forestalled when the company folded. Tami's best-known single, ‘I'm Gonna Run Away From You', was originally released in 1967.
