If you've been anywhere near social media over the past few weeks, you have seen pictures of kids as they head off for their first day of school. Well it's not only random people from high school putting up those photos on Facebook and Instagram, celebrities are doing it too. Tori Spelling is one of them, posting a pic of her four older kids who this year are all going to the same school.
While plenty of fans related to how great it is to only have one drop off, and others congratulated the actress on her growing brood, some commenters stuck out for Tori - trolls who wrote about how her kids looked. Tori didn't stand for it.
The picture shows 11-year-old Liam, 10-year-old Stella and 6-year-olds Hattie and Finn as they began sixth grade, fifth grade, first grade and kindergarten respectively. While many fans wrote in about how beautiful the kids are, some had the audacity to speak about what they were wearing and how much they weighed.
After seeing some of the shaming, Tori responded in the comments section, telling everyone that she is a "proud mama bear" who enjoys sharing her family's journey with the world. She went on to slam the trolls, writing, "For all the individuals on here that felt the need to #momshame and #kidshame me and my children I say ‘Shame on you!’ I was raised to believe that if you can’t say anything nice about someone then don’t say anything at all."
The Beverly Hills, 90210 star ended her comment asking people to "lift others up and you in turn lift yourself up #endcyberbullying."
Tori also has an 18-month-old son named Beau, all with her husband, Dean McDermott.
