Hozier Gives Emotional Acoustic Performance of 'NFWMB': Watch

Hozier gave fans a pleasant surprise when he released Nina Cried Power last month. The four-song EP is led by its powerful, politically charged title track featuring Mavis Staples; however, the second song might be the most passionate on the album. "NFWMB" is a moody, quiet track that features mesmerizing harmonies reminiscent of Simon & Garfunkel. We didn't think the song could get any more intimate, but we were apparently wrong because the Irish bred singer-songwriter shared a video of him and his keyboardist performing an even more stripped down version of the song.

The clip was shot at Killruddery House in Hozier's hometown of Bray, Ireland. Watch the emotional, acoustic performance below.

Nina Cried Power is Hozier's first new music in three years, but the 28-year-old musician has much more to give us soon.

During a recent interview with Jonathan Clark of Q104.3, Hozier revealed that he has a full-length album in the works. "Early 2019 will be the album proper I would think," he divulged, "but we should have one more song coming out before Christmas if all goes well."

He recently wrapped up a North American tour and will be hitting the road on an extensive European tour in November.
