A house divided!
Who would have thought Cardi B and her husband Offset would become one of the great rap battles of 2018? The married couple is preparing to join the long list of rappers who went head to head in the name of hip-hop this year as they gear up for their upcoming rap battle.
Cardi issued a challenge to her hubby on Instagram Tuesday (November 27), saying she's prepared to face-off against the "Movin Too Fast" rapper on Wednesday (November 29) at 12 p.m. ET on the TikTok app. "What's poppin' husband? I challenge you to a rap battle," she said in the video. "Whoever loses gotta buy all the Christmas decorations. All of them. [For the house] in New York and the one in Atlanta too. What's up? Are you scared? Of wifey, hmm?"
Offset later responded to Cardi's challenge on his Instagram Story, saying, "You're on baby... I accept your challenge... Let's rap it up. Let's go!"
The couple's rap battle will air weeks before the release of Offset's debut studio album. Cardi revealed the highly-anticipated project's release date on Instagram over the weekend in an explicit caption where she gushed over her husband. "Fine a** 😍I’ll suck ya d**k right thruu this phone 😤😤....hubby album coming 12-14 🔥🔥🔥.
Earlier this month, Cardi praised the Migos' rapper's forthcoming solo project and let fans in on some details about his super secret project. "I’m loving hubby album," she wrote on Twitter. "It’s a very deep album..Intro made me cry twice 😔."
The project follows both Quavo and Takeoff's solo albums, Quavo Huncho and The Last Rocket, respectively.
