The 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have been announced.

Next year's inductees make up one of the Hall of Fame's biggest-hitting classes ever. The inductees are Def Leppard, Stevie Nicks, Janet Jackson, Radiohead, The Cure, Roxy Music and the Zombies

Def Leppard secured the induction after dominating fan-voting for enshrinement, garnering 17 percent of all votes cast for the 15 nominees.

Def Leppard front man Joe Elliot has waffled publicly over the years on whether Def Leppard would even show up at the Hall of Fame. But after a conversation with Jon Bon Jovi this past year, Elliott changed his tune

"How wonderful to be in the same club as The Rolling Stones and the Beatles and the Who and Queen," front man Elliot told Rolling Stone.

The 2019 induction will make Nicks a two-time Hall of Famer; she was first inducted in 1998 as a member of Fleetwood Mac

"To be recognized for my solo work makes me take a deep breath and smile," Nicks said in a statement. "It's a glorious feeling."

While Hall of Fame status means a lot for every artist who turns up for the honor, for Jackson, the night means something more.

"I am truly honored and I am happy to be in there with my brothers," she said in a statement regarding the honor.

The Jackson family is among the most-honored in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame history. Her brothers in The Jackson 5 entered the hall in 1997, while Michael Jackson became a two-time Hall of Famer in 2001 when he was inducted for his solo career.

The Zombies are a favorite of many Rock Hall committee-members and have been eligible since 1989, appearing three previous ballots.

Radiohead has yet to acknowledge the Hall of Fame status, and probably won't until band members are asked about it directly. The band is a long shot to do anything for the Hall of Fame. A year ago, when Radiohead was nominated, the band booked tour dates in South America the week of the ceremony.

Guitarist Jonny Greenwood has said previously that he neither understands nor cares about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The induction ceremony takes place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on March 29. A televised version of the festivities will air later on HBO. Ticket details will be announced in January.
